Baked sweet potato fries


  • 1 unpeeled sweet potato
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • salt and pepper
  • For flavour, add either paprika, cayenne pepper, cinnamon or cumin

Delicious Dipping sauce

  • ¼ cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Ground cinnamon (just a pinch)


Preheat oven to 200˚C.

Slice the sweet potato into 1cm thick sticks.  Rinse and lay out on a clean cloth to dry.

Combine dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.

Combine the sweet potato, olive oil, cornflour and spice in a bowl.  Season with salt and pepper, toss to combine. Lay the fries on a lined baking tray.  Put into the oven and bake.

Serve with the delicious dipping sauce.
